Job Description
Rock Structural Designer
We are a design and consulting firm in the built environment looking for a Rock Structural Designer to work on diverse infrastructure and construction projects in Espoo or Tampere with hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Design rock structures and blasting solutions (e.g., tunnels, rock chambers, rock cuts)
- Design reinforcement and support solutions (e.g., bolts, shotcrete)
- Coordinate plans with other design disciplines
- Participate in project phases from preliminary studies to detailed design
- Conduct rock chamber condition assessments and repair design
- Support construction phases with expert advice
Qualifications
- University degree in engineering or related field
- Experience in rock construction and/or rock structural design
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with stakeholders
