Overview
Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician in the Patrol division, delivering mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
- Work demand‑led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime.
- Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to members when they need it most.
- Start and finish each day at home, troubleshooting and resolving faults on the roadside.
Requirements
- Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
- Customer‑focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
