Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Critical thinking skills EKG rhythm interpretation experience Experience with cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips Peripheral IV skills Experience with bipaps, high flow oxygen, and multiple oxygen delivery systems Experience with stroke and post-cardiac catheterization care Experience with tube feedings and NG/dobhoff tubes Description: The unit has 34 beds and a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5 on days and 1:5 to 1:6 on nights. Staffing includes three techs when full and two techs when full in adjacent units. The unit is equipped with bipaps, high flow oxygen, vapotherm, Alaris pumps, and cardiac drips.
