Job Description:
We are a small 8 bed Critical Care Unit with a wide variety of patients. Our patient population consists of adults only, no pediatrics. Some diagnosis may include DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, post heart caths. We are not a specialized unit. We have a 2:1 sometimes 3:1 ratio depending on staffing and acuity. Many of the nurses have been here for 5 or more years and live in this community.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of vents, drips (sedation, vasoactive, etc.)
- Care of CVC lines
Requirements:
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- CPI certification
