RN - CVICU
The 20-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is a fast-paced specialty intensive care unit that provides expertise in delivering care to cardiovascular patients. Staff cares for high acuity specialty patients, such as stable heart and lung transplants, ventricular assist devices and ECMO patients. Ratios are 1:2-3 days/1:2-3 nights. BLS required, ACLS preferred. Two years of prior experience required (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital). Drips are required on all floors. EPIC charting experience required. First timers NOT accepted (will consider if the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level l Academic Medical Center). In addition to CNAs, care teams include care techs, transport team, swoop/paramedics. LPNs are assigned on some, but not all, floors. 100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY.
