Job Description
Registered Nurse - CVICU
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our CVICU team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma level one care and immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring intensive care. This position involves caring for high acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients.
- Efficiently manage high acuity patients using vents, a-lines, spinal drains, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Conduct ECG interpretation and monitoring.
- Administer temporary pacemakers and manage vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience.
- Epic experience is required.
- Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
