Job Description

The Risk Department Coordinator plays a critical administrative and logistical role, serving as the frontline contact for all new workers’ compensation claims. This position is vital for the efficient flow of claims processing, requiring exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to assisting our injured drivers and internal adjusters.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for new workers’ compensation claims, conducting critical intake interviews and logging all required initial data.
  • Perform initial claim triage and assessment prior to assignment to a dedicated Adjuster, ensuring timely hand-off.
  • Facilitate necessary logistics for injured drivers, coordinating arrangements for light
  • duty, treatment at a terminal, or arrangement for home-based care/benefits.
