We are seeking experienced Intermediate and Advanced Riggers (RI / RA) to join our Alkimos SeaWater Alliance Project. You will play a key role in ensuring all rigging operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with lift procedures, project requirements, and WHS legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Rigging Operations
- Carry out intermediate to advanced rigging tasks including lifting, moving, and securing structural steel, mechanical equipment, precast elements, and materials
- Interpret lift plans, engineered drawings, and rigging studies
- Select, inspect, and safely use rigging gear including slings, shackles, chain blocks, and lifting assemblies
- Direct crane operators and doggers using clear communication and standard signalling
- Set up and dismantle hoists, winches, and temporary lifting systems
