Summary About the Position: This position will make and install complex standing and running rigging used to support, secure, or operate equipment, machinery, and other items having critically fit, tension, and operational requirements. Responsibilities Perform rigging work necessary to move, load, unload and install heavy machining and industrial equipment. Visual inspect rigging equipment in accordance with established guidelines. Maintain inspection list of items inspected according to Army regulations. Use cable cutting tools, and chain falls to accomplish daily projects. Manufacture a variety of cables, slings, ropes, and chains according to established policies. Perform more complex assembly line operations to include operation of powder melting and blending kettles, production fluoroscope, hydraulic extrusion presses, crimping machines, and assembly machines.
