Job Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Postgraduate qualification in Hydraulics, Structural Engineering, or Water Resources (desirable)
- Minimum 10–15 years of professional civil engineering experience
- At least 7–10 years in dams and hydropower projects
- Proven experience in: Upper works construction (spillways, intake, gates, powerhouse superstructure); Site supervision or resident engineering roles; Contractor management and construction coordination
- Experience with FIDIC-based or donor-funded projects is an advantage
- Supervision of dam and hydropower upper works
- Concrete works, reinforced concrete structures, and hydraulic structures
- Interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Quality assurance, inspection, and testing
- Construction progress monitoring and reporting
