At Hitachi Energy Research, we are shaping the energy systems of tomorrow. As the power grid evolves into a complex, digital “system of systems” integrating renewable energy, power electronics, and distributed assets, ensuring long‑term reliability and availability becomes a central challenge.

We are looking for a Scientist in Reliability Modelling to drive innovation in system‑level reliability modelling and lifecycle optimization of power grid components and systems, large‑scale power grid infrastructures, including emerging applications in challenging environments to help development of sustainable energy sources and their integration to the power grid of the future.
