Job Description
Research Engineer (fixed-term)
We are now looking for a Research Engineer to join our Wood & Pulp Technology Team in the Group Innovation and R&D function. This is a fixed-term parental leave substitution from 1 September 2026 until 30 September 2027.
A flexible location. Ideally based in Sweden or Finland, other European locations possible. The role reports to the Head of Wood & Pulp Technology.
Purpose of the role
The purpose of the role is to support wood innovation activities in Stora Enso and to provide customers and colleagues with expert technical knowledge on the application and performance of CLT and LVL.
Key responsibilities
- Providing engineering and wood processing expertise to help develop ideas, accelerate innovation projects, and solve problems
