Research Assistant – Quantum Sensing Engineer

The Nanyang Quantum Solutions team led by Prof.MarekGluza at NTU Singapore seeks a research assistant to develop engineering solutions for tabletop prototype systems that translate dynamic quantum algorithms, such as double‑bracket algorithmic cooling, into practical quantum sensing applications using nitrogen‑vacancy (NV) centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Propose feasibility and cost analysis for a tabletop NV‑center readout setup using commercially available lasers and microwave resonators.
• Develop readout solutions and techniques for quantum sensor usage in material‑science fabrication pipelines.
• Translate dynamic quantum algorithms (e.g., double‑bracket algorithmic cooling) into actionable protocols for NV‑center ensembles.
