Render Engineering Team Lead

Full-time Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of render engineers by setting direction and aligning on priorities
• Stay hands-on technically by designing key systems and tackling complex performance issues
• Oversee technical strategy for rendering, media pipelines, and platform performance
• Manage people leadership including 1:1s, coaching, career development, and performance reviews
• Participate in hiring and team growth planning
• Partner cross-functionally with product and engineering stakeholders

Requirements

• Extensive experience with multi-threaded rendering and performance optimization
• Proficiency in low-level graphics APIs such as OpenGL, Metal, and DirectX
• Deep expertise in C++ as a primary language
• Familiarity with video streaming technologies and low-latency processing pipelines
