Reminiscence Supervisor – Lead Compassionate Memory Care
The Reminiscence Supervisor provides hands‑on leadership in the memory care neighborhood, supporting daily operations while delivering compassionate, resident‑centered care. This working leader supervises the reminiscence team, champions the designated care manager model and ensures excellence in dementia programming and family engagement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the reminiscence team in daily care and operations
- Assist with staffing, scheduling and timekeeping oversight
- Provide direct resident care and support Life Skills programming
- Monitor resident condition changes and elevate concerns appropriately
- Support family meetings, education sessions, and monthly support groups
- Assist with ISPs, daily assignments and point‑of‑care documentation
- Promote resident‑centered care and dementia‑specific best practices
