About the Opportunity

This is an open position with the FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp.

This Engineer position is accountable for the reliability and assessment of Pennsylvania's distribution systems. The engineer performs analysis and recommends solutions to maintain a reliable electrical infrastructure that meets present and future electrical needs.

The position is located onsite at the Towanda Service Center in Towanda, PA.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Working safely in accordance with the Company’s Accident Prevention Handbook.
  • Assessing and improving the electrical distribution system's reliability performance for all Pennsylvania Operating Areas.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic plans to achieve reliability performance targets and metrics including a long-range vision for system improvement and modernization.
