Registered Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy Services

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Manager, the Registered Pharmacy Technician will participate in all aspects of the medication management process for inpatients primarily at the West Bedford Transitional Care Facility as a member of the interdisciplinary care team. Duties may include dispensing medications for inpatients either in unit dose format, as pass medications or self-medications, working with pharmacy automation, inventory management, supporting best practices for the distribution and waste procedures for narcotics and controlled drugs, clinical support activities, and participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
