Job Description
Position: Registration Nurse – Visiting Nursing (Part-Time, 0.8 FTE)
Location: Truro, Colchester & East Hants County, Nova Scotia
Responsibilities
Provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other community settings across Nova Scotia.
- Diabetes management
- Dialysis
- IV medications
- IV/CVAD care
- Palliative care
- Phlebotomy
- Wound care, including negative pressure wound therapy and complex wounds
- and much more
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nova Scotia
- Experience in community health considered an asset
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access
- Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (and Vulnerable Sector Search or Child Abuse Registry Check if required)
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
