Job Summary
Registered Nurse position at Sechelt Hospital, Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). The nurse will provide emergency care to patients of all ages, practice within a patient and family centric model, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include triage, stabilization, resuscitation, disaster preparation, and participation in committees and research projects.
Qualifications – Education & Experience
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Completion of an advanced program in emergency care nursing or two years of recent related experience.
Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a patient/family centered model of care.
