Job Description

Purpose:

The Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) services clients aged 18 and older with serious mental health challenges and significant functional impairments. ACT is delivered by a group of multidisciplinary mental health practitioners who work as a team and provide the majority of the treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to achieve their goals directly in the client’s environment of choice.


Duties:

  • Collaborate and contribute to a client-centered treatment plan.

  • Provide assessments, consultation, and clinical treatment within the context of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Demonstrate competence working in an independent and flexible manner in a community-based setting.

  • Supervise, develop, revise and maintain pharmacological and medical treatment in collaboration with the team psychiatrist.
