Job Description
Enhance nutritional care as a Registered Dietitian with Sodexo in Ontario's Long Term Care facilities. Plan and evaluate dietary interventions while collaborating with diverse healthcare professionals.
In this full-time position, you will assess residents’ nutritional needs and implement care plans that meet MOH and LTC standards. Your role will involve not only direct patient interaction and assessments but also consulting with other health professionals, educational outreach, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. You will be a vital resource for the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and evaluations
• Monitor residents' nutritional status and follow-up as needed
• Document and consult on therapeutic diet recommendations
• Facilitate educational sessions for dietary and nursing staff
• Develop programs to improve nutritional outcomes
