Job Description
Seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for Penticton Health Centre, specializing in nutrition care and diabetes education. This temporary role is focused on patient-centered assessments and care plan development.
The Dietitian position is a relief role anticipated to last until June 2027. Candidates should have experience in diabetes education or a readiness to gain relevant certification. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:00, serving a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess nutritional needs and develop care strategies
• Deliver education and support to patients and groups
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Advise on practical food service and menu design
• Contribute to and improve healthcare practices
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics
• Completion of an accredited dietetic internship
