Full-time Our client, a leading organisation within the mining sector, is seeking an experienced Regional Officer Social Development to drive Social and Labour Plan (SLP) compliance, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable community development initiatives across the Western and Eastern Cape. : Manage and implement Social and Labour Plan (SLP) and Social & Economic Development (SED) initiatives. Drive stakeholder engagement with the DMPR, government departments, municipalities, tribal authorities and community structures. Draft, submit and manage SLPs and Section 102 amendment applications. Ensure compliance with the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA), the Mining Charter and all relevant legislation. Monitor Human Resources Development programmes, Employment Equity, procurement, downscaling, housing and living conditions.
