Position Details
GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Director of the Hartley Outdoor Education Center/Murphy Farm, the Recreation Supervisor is responsible for the planning and conducting the evening recreational activities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To plan and conduct innovative evening recreation programs and activities for students and for special events.
2. To become knowledgeable and familiar with the Michigan Department of Human Services Camp Licensing laws and policies for Camp Programs.
3. Maintains recreation equipment and facilities in good working order.
4. Responsible for administering medications to students and camp counselors.
5. Responsible for providing first aid and emergency care to students and program participants when required.
