Job Description

Overview

A leading retailer is looking for an experienced Rebates Accountant to join their team in Cape Town .

The successful candidate will oversee the rebates department in order to ensure that the rebates are processed according to the contractual agreement in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate yearly data for the Trading Term Template to be used in the Trade Term Talks negotiations.
  • Assure timely and accurate processing of contractual billing. Keep track of all processed contractual billings.
  • Keep an eye on the Trial Balance for each trade account on the DC.
  • Keep an eye on the manual billing procedure and talk to the appropriate Authority about unpaid billings.
  • Monitor and protect all contracts and agreements with vendors.
