We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead the development of rubber power transmission belts and related products for our Rubber Business. The role is based in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona (Spain), with responsibility for China and India and regular travel to both countries.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the mid‑ and long‑term Global R&D strategy aligned with corporate and commercial objectives.
Lead and develop the R&D team (product engineering, materials, laboratory and testing).
Drive new product development and continuous improvement of rubber power transmission belts worldwide.
Research, develop and validate rubber compounds, reinforcements and surface treatments.
Improve product performance (durability, energy efficiency, noise, vibration, thermal and chemical resistance).
