Job Description
Become a Rail Technician with NOVA Chemicals at our Joffre site near Red Deer, AB. Ensure the safety and efficiency of rail operations in our petrochemical plant.
We are in search of Rail Technicians who will play a vital role in our Rail Operations Team. This position requires operating locomotives and managing rail equipment, all while prioritizing safety and timely deliveries. You will also mentor newer technicians, contributing to a culture of development and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate locomotives and handle switchperson duties
• Facilitate efficient loading and unloading of rail cars
• Conduct inspections and maintenance of rail equipment
• Champion continuous operational excellence initiatives

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license
