Job Summary
The Radiology Technician in Mammography will perform daily scheduled Mammograms and Densitometry studies.

Job Specific Responsibilities
Daily assignments may include but are not limited to:
•Perform Mammograms and Densitometry studies, including retakes and additional view takes
• Perform studies properly distinguishing between a screen, diagnostic, unilateral, follow-up, and implant exams
• Interview patient and explain procedure(s), any forms needed to be completed, any possible complications, and how much time involved; Answer patient questions
• Verify paperwork before performing exam. Verifications include but not limited to: patient’s name, date of birth, medical history, physician’s name, and type of procedure and location of procedure, prior to exposure
