Radio Frequency Hardware Designer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of radio frequency systems and in the debugging of existing RF products
• Collaboratively design a variety of RF boards according to PLM team requests
• Travel up to twice per year
• Participate in the development of the architecture for new RF products
• Perform transmit and receive chain analyses
• Write hardware and software system requirements to ensure proper RF system operation
• Develop system test plans and produce analyses of the results
• Optimize gain control and power detection
• Design RF PCBs
• Schematic capture
• Participate in hardware and software design reviews
• Technical management of subcontractors: specification review, design review, audits and evaluation
• Provide second-line support for production and customers
