Main Purpose

To maintain radio contact with road staff, prepare schedules, and maintain a daily log of all events, road operations, and client liaison.

Key Performance Areas

1. Maintain radio and telephonic communication with vehicles so that their whereabouts and actions are known at all times.
2. Ensure crews use the correct codes in all radio transmissions.
3. Ensure emergency procedures are known to the vehicles and that correct procedures are adhered to.
4. Maintain and record a precise and accurate daily log sheet of all vehicles and third‑party movement, including blind radio spot notations, service receipt numbers, standby situations, operational reminders, failures to meet agreed schedules, and non‑scheduled work.
5. Phone clients to confirm that a no service was required when such is given to crews.
