Position Overview

At IQM, we build world‑leading quantum computers that tackle computational challenges beyond the limits of classical machines. As a Quantum Engineer , you will lead the development of fabrication processes for IQM’s next generation of quantum chips, transforming experimental breakthroughs into scalable manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of quantum chip fabrication processes through structured experimentation and data‑driven iteration.
• Design, execute, and analyze hypothesis‑driven experiments to evaluate new materials, fabrication methods, and process flows.
• Assess technical feasibility, risks, and integration strategies for future QPU architectures.
• Work closely with Design, Calibration, Equipment Engineering, Process Integration, Chip Production, and Cleanroom teams to bring new fabrication technologies into production.
