Job Description

We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Construction sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a junior Quantity Surveyor to assist with proposals, monitoring project progress and controlling costs to maximise income.

Quantity Surveyor’s Core Duties

  • Identify scope of works
  • Identify cost of materials, labour and equipment
  • Assess overheads and potential profit
  • Request and review quotes from third parties and select as appropriate
  • Assess project risks and incorporate them into the estimates
  • Take into account inflation and exchange rates
  • Prepare projected timescales with provisions for unexpected events
  • Prepare quotes and monitor costs
  • Agree costs, budgets and project variances
  • Manage contractual agreements and resolve any disputes
