Job Description
Job Summary
The Quality Technician supports manufacturing quality operations by monitoring process performance, analyzing data, and assisting in the resolution of quality issues. This role ensures compliance with quality standards and supports continuous improvement to maintain high product quality and yield. This position reports to the Quality Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze production quality data (e.g., yield, OATF) to identify trends, deviations, and potential issues in support of the Quality Engineer; elevate concerns as needed.
- Support investigation of in-process and customer quality issues, including gathering data, assisting in root cause analysis, and tracking corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure proper implementation of containment actions by conducting spot audits and verifying effectiveness on the production floor.
