Job Description
This position is responsible for inspecting manufactured products to ensure they comply with contract specifications. The role involves incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspection of products.
Responsibilities
+ Inspect raw materials, components, fabricated/manufactured parts, and assemblies.
+ Perform accurate first article inspections on new parts from suppliers and issue results.
+ Dispose of scrap material after the Accounting Department removes it from the inventory database and clear the SAP parts location of scrapped material.
+ Maintain accuracy of inspection files.
+ Train new inspectors as needed and resolve inspection questions.
+ Interact with suppliers regarding inspection processes.
