Responsibilities

• Our client is seeking an experienced Quality & Technical Manager (Fruit) to join the Kirkwood facility
• Responsible for monitoring and managing all aspects of fruit quality in the operational chain from picking at the optimum time to packing and arriving in the markets
• Conduct fruit quality inspections on farms and in packhouses during the season to ensure that the fruit packed is according to export and client standards.
• Grower interaction and feedback on quality delivered and packed.
• Grower communication on a weekly basis for picking planning.
• Weekly estimates feedback for picking and packing discussed with marketing team.
• Assisting growers with audits, registrations, and verifications, orchard inspections and all other market access requirements.
• Overseas client interaction on all arrivals and due diligence for specific market and supermarkets.
