Job Description
A challenging opportunity exists at Metals Vanderbijlpark for a Quality Manager in the Quality department. The primary objective for this role is to participate in the development of the quality strategy and implement the quality management system and protocols to ensure regulatory compliance, and adherence to all internal quality specifications and customer to produce quality and safe products. This position will be reporting to the Plant Manager. This position is graded as a Peromnes 07. Responsibilities
Ensure compliance to local and relevant statutory requirements, the business code of practice, and the quality management system
Provide leadership and support the departments in the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system.
Lead the risk assessments relating to quality and product safety, and implement, track and verify risk mitigations and actions to improve the quality processes and products.
