Quality Inspector

Key Responsibilities Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of fabricated steel components. Interpret and read engineering and fabrication drawings accurately. Inspect and release materials for welding, ensuring fit-up and preparation meet quality standards. Perform in-process and final inspections throughout the fabrication process. Complete, verify, and sign off inspection reports and quality documentation. Ensure all quality records are accurate, complete, and maintained. Identify non-conformances and work closely with production to ensure corrective actions are implemented. Verify that completed work complies with project specifications, procedures, and applicable standards. Perform final quality checks before components are released to the next stage or dispatched to the client. Liaise with production, supervisors, and client representatives where required.
