Job Description
The Quality Engineer will act as a liaison between the build floor, engineering teams, and suppliers to resolve quality and build issues in a fastāpaced automotive manufacturing environment. This role is handsāon, highly collaborative, and focused on immediate containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
Day Shift Responsibilities
⢠Review endāofāshift reports to identify open quality issues
⢠Participate in or lead Easel Board meetings with engineers to gameāplan daily priorities
⢠Go to the production floor to talk with builders and review EZ board processes
⢠Diagnose quality and build issues ā supplier vs. product vs. engineering change
⢠Drive immediate containment and corrective actions
⢠Perform root cause analysis on quality concerns
⢠Take physical measurements of parts as needed
⢠Conduct quality investigations and provide findings to suppliers and engineers
⢠Reach out to suppliers regarding bad parts, contai...
