Quality Engineer
Reports To
Sr. Manager IMS & Quality Engineering
Job Purpose
To proactively reduce process variation, monitor quality concerns and initiate continuous improvements through various quality and lean manufacturing methods for North America, OEM and Pass‑through business. The Quality Engineer (QE) will assist with global product launches (Stage Gate) and product changes (ECO) by working closely with PDT (Product Development & Technology) / PMO (Project Management Office). The QE will also support Production by working closely with MFG Engineering and Production Supervisors / Team leads / Plant Managers. The QE will support product testing and drive the quality culture to achieve the highest quality products for our customers.
