Job Description
A vacancy for a Quality Controller exists at our automotive dealer client based in Bryanston. Must be a qualified technician with minimum 3 years' experience as a Quality Controller in the motor industry.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
- To ensure the quality of work from the workshop by carrying out road tests on completed vehicles.
- The outcome that is produced is well maintained / repaired motor vehicles and will be considered successful when:
- There are no comebacks.
- Job is done right first time.
- Satisfied clients (SCSI).
RELATIONSHIPS AND PERSONAL ACTIVITIES:
- Directly responsible to the Service Manager.
- Relationships with workshop foreman, after-sales consultants, technicians, apprentices, and customers.
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:
- To assist service reception when a vehicle is to be tested with a customer before it enters the workshop and inspect new vehicles.
