About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, this role optimizes mix design and raw material costs, implements and manages quality procedures and policies, oversees product development, and supports customers and sales representatives. The position meets divisional quality goals, reduces quality incidents and costs, enhances customer service, and leads a team of QA/QC technicians in the field.
What You'll Accomplish
- Administer, develop, implement, and standardize quality plans and processes for the Greater Edmonton / Northern Alberta Area in collaboration with the General Managers, conducting quality audits and adhering to the WCan Quality Control Manual.
- Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team for the region.
- Assess concrete mix designs for quality objectives and opportunities to increase cement efficiencies and reduce total mix costs. Analysis is performed by reviewing field data and using appropriate technical software. L...
