REQUIREMENTS Qualified Toolmaker with a recognised trade qualification Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience Experience working on plastic injection moulds is essential Strong understanding of mould maintenance, repairs and modifications Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience using conventional toolroom machinery CNC experience will be advantageous Must be able to work accurately and independently Must have good problem-solving skills Must be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team DUTIES Manufacturing, maintaining, repairing and modifying plastic injection moulds Performing preventative maintenance on moulds Fault-finding and repairing mould-related issues Assisting with tool trials and mould improvements Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Operating conventional toolroom machinery safely and accurately Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards Supporting production by ensuring moulds are a...
