Job Title Quality Engineer QualificationB.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience2–5 years of experience in automotive or precision manufacturing. Technical Knowledge & SkillsThe candidate must have hands-on experience in: PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) IATF 16949 Quality Management System (if you meant IASO, this is likely the standard you intended) Core Quality Tools: FMEA SPC MSA Control Plan 8D Problem Solving Root Cause Analysis Preparation and maintenance of PPAP documentation. Conducting internal process and product audits. Customer complaint handling and CAPA implementation. Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings. Inspection using precision measuring instruments, including: Air Gauge Bore Dial Gauge Vernier Caliper Micrometer (Inside & Outside) Height Gauge Dial Indicator Plug Gauges Ring Gauges Thread Gauges Ability to read and interpret inspection reports.
