Job Summary
The Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer is responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. The position ensures accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimation, budgeting, procurement support, progress billing, and contract administration while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with project specifications and company standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine project scope and quantity requirements.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Develop project budgets and assist in cost planning and cost control.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns.
