Job Title: QC Scientist IJob Description
The QC Scientist I is responsible for performing routine analyses and documentation of raw materials, in-process samples, calibrations, or projects within the QC Chemistry Laboratory. This role supports internal development and manufacturing operations by making detailed observations, reviewing, documenting, and communicating test results in a manner consistent with established standards.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct routine chemical and physical testing of raw materials using internally developed and compendial test methods.
+ Execute validated test methods for pharmaceutical raw materials to assess strength, impurities, identity, and characteristics using HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and traditional wet chemical testing.
+ Recognize and report out-of-specification or unexpected results and non-routine analytical and product problems.
+ Perform daily instrument calibrations and verifications as required.
