Job Description
Responsibilities The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, for Hillcrest Family Services MHC in Dubuque, IA, the primary responsibilities include providing specialized and advanced direct and indirect client care.
Addition, you will: Review all cases referred to by therapists and/or other medical practitionersPerform initial evaluations and follow-up care for medication management clientsFormulate diagnosis(es) of acute and chronic diseaseComplete paperwork/dictation within 24 hours from service dateAdminister medications and other therapeutic means, necessary to implement treatment within the scope of licensureProvide education to patients and families around issues related to the patient's diagnosis, illness, and/or treatmentOther duties as assigned.
