Job Description
Primary Role Focus
Responsible for sourcing raw material and components required for planned and project demands in a timely manner to ensure schedules are met. This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
ā¢Determine priorities, schedules, initiate requests for quotations and issue purchase orders
ā¢Develop an understanding of supplier base and their capabilities
ā¢Upgrade ERP item cards including vendor information, pricing and historical information
ā¢Track orders to ensure they are on schedule and update system as required when changes occur
ā¢Monitor, expedite, and troubleshoot orders through to completion and update stakeholders as required
ā¢Maintain correct and accurate flow of information to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction is delivered to all stakeholders
