Job Description
The Purchasing/Buyer Intern will support the procurement team in daily purchasing activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet production requirements. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to supply chain operations within a fast‑paced electronics manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist buyers in creating and processing purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system.
- Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and shipment status.
- Support material planning activities to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Update and maintain procurement records and databases accurately.
- Coordinate with internal teams (planning, warehouse, production) to track material requirements.
