Role Description
The Purchasing Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Simpang Ampat. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including evaluating supplier quotations, preparing and issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and components. The Purchasing Engineer collaborates with engineering, production, and quality teams to understand technical specifications and translate them into clear purchasing requirements. Daily tasks include monitoring inventory levels, supporting purchase planning based on project and production schedules, and resolving supplier-related issues such as delays or non-conformance. The role also involves analyzing cost, quality, and delivery performance data to support continuous improvement in purchasing processes and overall supply chain efficiency.
