– due to internal promotion!Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to support Strategic Procurement, Grid Delivery and Engineering. You’ll create and manage purchase orders in Maximo and FMIS, coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders, and support purchasing for maintenance and project delivery across the National Grid.
This is specialist, technically varied purchasing. You’ll be involved in long-lead items such as transformers, substation equipment, protection and communications materials, transmission line materials and cabling. You’ll also keep purchase orders moving, provide timely updates on project materials, support item coding and master data maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Inventory and Purchasing function.
